When new EU regulations required companies with more than 50 employees to provide a secure whistleblowing channel, Ferbar faced a clear challenge.

Traditional approaches, including email, physical mailboxes, or phone lines, introduced risk. They lacked confidentiality, exposed sensitive data, and made it difficult to guarantee compliance with strict legal timelines.

Ferbar required more than a tool. A platform was needed that could build trust across its entire network of stakeholders, ensuring every report was handled anonymously, securely, and in full compliance with the law.

Rather than sourcing development capacity alone, Ferbar partnered with Double Shore to design and build the full technical backbone of a secure, compliant, and user-friendly whistleblowing system.

The result was Double Voice, a secure and accessible platform that Ferbar now uses to manage whistleblowing reports with confidence.

Any stakeholder, including employees, suppliers, customers, or shareholders, can submit a report with the assurance that their identity remains protected and their case is handled discreetly.

To support compliance teams, features such as automated response templates and secure two-way communication were introduced, enabling follow-up with reporters while preserving full anonymity.

Every report is encrypted end-to-end. When cases need to be shared externally, the system exports files as password-protected ZIP archives, ensuring sensitive information remains secure in transit.

What began as a legal requirement became an opportunity to strengthen trust.

Today, Double Voice not only supports Ferbar in maintaining compliance, but also reinforces its position as a company committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices.

Double Voice was developed not only as a solution for Ferbar, but as a replicable and future-ready product. The approach included:

End-to-end encrypted reporting system: confidentiality maintained from submission to resolution.
Unique login codes for anonymous reporters: secure two-way communication without revealing identities.
Automated workflows and response templates: support for compliance with deadlines and reduced manual effort.
Encrypted ZIP exports for reports: secure transmission of cases to external partners, including legal teams.
On-premises deployment with Azure DevOps CI/CD: a tailored and secure setup aligned with Ferbar’s infrastructure.
